Home My WebLink About73-78 - Designating Polling Places for Special ElectionRESOLUTION NO. 73-78 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, DESIGNATING POLLING PLACES AND OFFICERS OF ELECTION FOR SPECIAL ELECTION. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa has heretofore, by Ordinance No. 73-29, called and ordered a Special Election to be held in said City on September 11, 1973, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified voters thereof certain propositions; and, WHEREAS, by the aforesaid Ordinance, said City Council established and designated forty (40) voting precincts for the purpose of holding said Special Election; and, WHEREAS, said City Council desires now to designate the polling places and officers of election for the respective voting precincts, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa HEREBY DOES RESOLVE, that, for the purpose of holding the aforesaid Special Election, the polling places for the respective voting precincts heretofore established and designated by Ordinance No. 73--29 shall be the places hereinafter designated, and the persons hereinafter named, being competent and qualified electors and residents of said City and of their respective voting precincts, hereby are appointed officers of election for their respective voting precincts and they shall hold said election and make return thereof in the manner provided by law.
