HomeMy WebLinkAbout73-84 - Adopting Plan for Certain Elements of Comprehensive Long Range General PlanRESOLUTION NO. 73-84 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING THE PLAN FOR THE ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGE- MENT SYSTEM, CONSERVATION, OPEN SPACE, AND SCENIC HIGHWAY ELEMENTS OF THE COSTA MESA COMPREHENSIVE LONG RANGE GENERAL PLAN. WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa, an amendment to the Costa Mesa Comprehensive Long Range General Plan, being the plan for the Environmental Management System, Conservation, Open Space, and Scenic Highway Elements in accordance with Section 65350 et seq. of the Government Code of the State of California; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Costa Mesa has adopted said amendment to said plan by Resolution No. 73-06, passed and adopted by said Commission on June 11, 1973, a certified copy thereof being attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof; and WHEREAS, public hearing on said amendment to the General Plan has been conducted as required by law; and WHEREAS, this City Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City that said amendment to said General Plan be adopted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa that the aforementioned amendment, being the plan for the Environmental Management System, Conservation, Open Space, and Scenic Highway Elements of the General Plan, in accordance with Section 65350 et seq. of the Government Code of the State of California, as filed in the office of the City Clerk, be, and the same is hereby confirmed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa.
