HomeMy WebLinkAbout73-145 - Adopting GP-73-03, Changing Land Use ElementRESOLUTION NO. 73-145 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT GP -73-03 TO CHANGE THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN FROM LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO GENERAL COMMERCIAL FOR PROPERTY AT 2709 AND 2729 BRISTOL STREET. WHEREAS, study indicates that a residential land use at 2709 and 2729 Bristol Street would be impractical and would constitute a possible hazard; and WHEREAS, a commercial land use at this site would be the most appropriate general plan designation due to the property being adjacent to Bristol Street, a major arterial highway. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby approve General Plan Amendment GP -73-03, changing the Land Use Element of the General Plan from low densitv residential to general commercial for property at 2709 and 2729 Bristol Street, Costa Mesa, California. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of December, 1973.
