HomeMy WebLinkAbout74-12 - Continuation of Services of Orange County Health Officer21 RESOLUTION NO. 74-12 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA CONSENTING TO THE COUNTY HEALTH OFFICER BEING DESIGNATED AS THE HEALTH OFFICER FOR THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, PURSUANT TO SECTION 476 HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE, AND ORDERING THAT A COPY OF THE SAME BE SERVED UPON THE CLERK OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, PURSUANT TO SECTION 477 HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: THAT, WHEREAS, the County of Orange on or about February 5, 1974, passed and adopted Resolution No. 74-182 requiring each City served by the County of Orange Health Department to again consent to said service; and WHEREAS, the City of Costa Mesa is desirous of continuing the use of the County of Orange Health Department as the City Health Service. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 476, the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa hereby consents to the enforcement and observance by the County Health Officer in the City of Costa Mesa of orders, quarantine regulations, and rules prescribed by the State Depart- ment of Health; other rules and regulations issued under the provisions of the Health and Safety Code; and statutes relating to public health.
