RESOLUTION NO. 74-36
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA
MESA, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT GP -74-03,
AMENDING THE GENERAL PLAN 1990, BEING A MASTER PLAN OF ZON-
ING FOR THE CITY OF COSTA MESA.
WHEREAS, a plan of zoning for the City of Costa Mesa, known as the
General Plan 1990, as amended, was adopted by the City Council of the City
of Costa Mesa by Resolution 71-27 on April 5, 1971; and
WHEREAS, General Plan Amendment GP -74-03, a plan to change the pro-
posed land use from low density residential to medium density residential
in the area located at the northwest corner of Placentia Avenue and Wilson
Street, has been recommended for adoption by the Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, public hearing was duly held by the City Council in accordance
with Section 65355 of the Government Code of the State of California, all
persons having been given the opportunity to be heard, both for and against
said Amendment GP -74-03 to General Plan 1990; and
WHEREAS, this Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City
that said Amendment to General Plan 1990 be adopted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Costa
Mesa, that General Plan 1990 is hereby amended by the adoption of General
Plan Amendment GP -74-03.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of June, 1974.
