HomeMy WebLinkAbout74-48 - Setting Public Hearing for Sale of Property70 RESOLUTION NO. 74-48 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, RELATING TO THE SALE OF CITY PROPERTY, INDICATING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY TO SELL SAID PRO- PERTY, SETTING A TIME FOR PUBLIC HEARING, AND PROVIDING FOR THE POSTING AND PUBLICATION OF SAME. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of July, 1974. Mayor of the City of Costa Mesa ATTEST: «� k_7 City Clerk of the City of Costa Meol THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: THAT, WHEREAS, the City now owns in fee title that certain parcel of property within the City of Costa Mesa as described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this specific reference made a part hereof; and WHEREAS, the City proposes to sell said property to CYRUS and CHRISTA AJIR of 2764 Bluebird Circle, Costa Mesa, as joint tenants with right of survivorship; and WHEREAS, the City finds and declares its intention to proceed under and by virtue of Title 4, Division 3, Chapter 5, Article 3, Sec- tions 37420 at seq. of the California Government Code for the sale of said site. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that there is hereby fixed the time of 6:30 p.m., August 20, 1974, in the Council Chambers at 77 Fair Drive in the City of Costa Mesa, at a regular meeting of the City Council as the time and place for hearing of protests relating to said sale or trade. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and is hereby in- structed to publish a copy of this Resolution in the Orange Coast Daily Pilot at least one time prior to the time of said hearing; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and is hereby instructed to post said property in three conspicuous places upon the parcel to be sold or traded at least ten (10) days prior to August 20, 1974. BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the City Council will then and there, at the aforesaid time and place, act upon the sale as set forth in this Resolution. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of July, 1974.
