A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, ACTING AS THE EX -OFFICIO
BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA PARK AND
RECREATION DISTRICT, DECLARING AND ORDERING
CERTAIN TERRITORY KNOWN AS SANTA ANA AVENUE
NO. I ANNEXATION ANNEXED TO THE COSTA MESA PARK
AND RECREATION DISTRICT.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, ACTING AS THE EX -
OFFICIO BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA PARK AND RECREATION DISTRICT,
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission of Orange County,
California, did on the 24th day of July, 1974, approve the annexation of
certain territory, described as Santa Ana Avenue No. 1 Annexation, to
the Costa Mesa Park and Recreation District, after application having
been made for said annexation by the City of Costa Mesa, and accompanied
by written consent of one hundred percent (100%) of the land owners
within the territory.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby found and determined as follows
(a) That the territory proposed to be annexed is uninhabited and
that no written protests have been filed and that the written
protests filed and not withdrawn represent less than ten percent
(10%) of the number of land owners in the territory proposed to be
annexed, owning not more than ten percent (10%) of the assessed
value of land therein.
(b) That the proposed annexation will be for the interest of the
land owners and the present and future inhabitants within the
territory proposed to be annexed.
(c) That the City Council has taken into consideration as a
factor, in addition to the factors hereinabove set forth, the Local
Agency Formation Commission's approval of the proposed annexation.
(d) That the territory to be annexed is contiguous to the existing
boundaries of the Costa Mesa Park and Recreation District.
The City Council has hereby ordered the annexation of Santa Ana
Avenue No. 1 Annexation in accordance with Resolution 74-86 of the Local
Agency Formation Commission.
That the exterior boundaries of the territory annexed are as set
forth in a map and legal description attached hereto marked Exhibit "A"
and by this reference made a part hereof.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of October, 1974.

SANTA ANA AVENUE NO. 1 ANNEXATION - REVISED
TO THE COSTA MESA PARK AND RECREATION DISTRICT
A portion of Lot 73 in Tract No. 376, as shown on a map thereof recorded
in book 15, page 29 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the center line intersection of University Drive
(formerly Del Mar Avenue) and Santa Ana Avenue as shown on a
map of said Tract; thence South 39" 48' 45" West along the
center line of said Santa Ana Avenue, 287.42 feet; thence
departing from said center line South 500 11' 45" East, 30.00
feet to a point in the existing boundary of the Costa Mesa
Park and Recreation District described in Resolution No. 61-131
of the Board of Supervisors of Orange County on December 20,
1961, said point being the True Point of Beginning of the
land described herein; thence departing from said existing
boundary South 50° 11' 45" East, parallel with said center line
of University Drive, 299.98 feet to a point in the southeasterly
line of said Lot 73; thence South 390 48' 45" West along said
lot line, 180.00 feet; thence departing from said line North
500 11' 45" West, parallel with said center line of University
Drive, 299.98 feet to a point in said existing boundary of the
Costa Mesa Park and Recreation District; thence North 390 48' 45"
East along said existing boundary, 180.00 feet to the True Point
of Beginning.
