RESOLUTION NO. 74-116
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, PROHIBITING PARKING ON
MONDAYS, BETWEEN 8:00 A.M. AND 12:00 NOON, ON A
PORTION OF COOLIDGE AVENUE, FOR THE PURPOSE OF
STREET SWEEPING.
WHEREAS, the Traffic Commission of the City of Costa Mesa has
recommended to this City Council that parking be prohibited on Mondays
between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon, on both curbs of Coolidge Avenue for
its length between Baker Street and Paularino Avenue, for the purpose
of street sweeping; and
WHEREAS, Section 10-213 of the Municipal Code of the City of Costa
Mesa provides for the designation of no -parking areas by resolution by
the City Council; and
WHEREAS, this Council deems it to be in the best interest of the
City that parking prohibitions be authorized as recommended by the Costa
Mesa Traffic Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Costa Mesa that parking be, and the same is hereby prohibited on Mondays
between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon, on both curbs of Coolidge Avenue for
its length between Baker Street and Paularino Avenue, for the purpose
of street sweeping.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of December, 1974.
