RESOLUTION NO. 75-86
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION
TO ORDER THE VACATION OF OLIVE AVENUE BETWEEN
NEWPORT BOULEVARD AND ELDEN AVENUE FROM SANTA
ISABEL AVENUE TO DEL MAR AVENUE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby
declare its intention to vacate portions of Olive Avenue described as
follows:
PARCEL NO. 1. A portion of the southwesterly one-half (1/2) of Lot
51 in Tract No. 300, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 14,
Page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps, official records of Orange County,
California, described as starting at the southerly corner of Lot
51, thence northwesterly along the southwesterly line of said Lot a
distance of 6.00 feet, thence northeasterly along a line to a point
on the northeasterly line of the southwesterly one-half (1/2) of
Lot 51, said point being 18.00 feet northwesterly from the south-
easterly lot line, thence southeasterly along said northeasterly
line to the southeasterly lot line, thence southwesterly along said
line to the Point of Beginning.
PARCEL NO. 2. The northwesterly 22.00 feet of the northeasterly
one-half (1/2) of Lot 56 together with the northwesterly 22.00 feet
of the southwesterly one-half (1/2) of Lot 58, all of Tract No. 300
as shown on a map recorded in Book 14, Page 11 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California.
PARCEL NO. 3. The southeasterly 20.00 feet of the northeasterly
one-half (1/2) of Lot 57, the southeasterly 20.00 feet of Lot 59,
together with the northwesterly 10.00 feet of the southeasterly
30.00 feet of the northeasterly one-half (1/2) of said Lot 59, all
of Tract No. 300 as shown on a map recorded in Book 14 Page 11 of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California.
PARCEL NO. 4. The northwesterly 30.00 feet of Lot 62 of Tract No.
300 as shown on a map recorded in Book 14, Page 11 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California.
PARCEL NO. 5. The northwesterly 22.00 feet of the southwesterly
one-half (1/2) of Lot 64 together with the northwesterly 30.00 feet
of the southwesterly 60.00 feet of the northeasterly 66.00 feet of
Lot 64 as shown on a map recorded in Book 14, Page 11 of Miscella-
neous Maps, records of Orange County, California.
PARCEL NO. 6. A portion of the northwesterly 82.50 feet of Lots 70
and 72, Tract No. 300, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book
14, Page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California, described as the northwesterly 30.00 feet of the above
described Lots 70 and 72, and the intersection of the southeasterly
line of the above described 30.00 -foot strip of land with the
northeasterly line of Monte Vista Avenue, 60.00 feet wide, shall be
rounded with a tangent curve having a radius of 15.00 feet.
PARCEL NO. 7. The northwesterly 22.00 feet of the southwesterly
60.00 feet of Lot 78 of Tract No. 300, as shown on a map recorded
in Book 14, Pages 11 and 12 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
Orange County, California.

PARCEL NO. 8. The southeasterly 22.00 feet of Lot 3 of Tract No.
376, as shown on a map recorded in Book 15, Page 29 of Miscella-
neous Maps, records of Orange County, California.
PARCEL NO. 9. The northwesterly 22.00 feet of Lot 28 of Tract No.
376 as shown on a map recorded in Book 15, Page 29 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California.
PARCEL NO. 10. The southeasterly 22.00 feet of the southwesterly
one-half (1/2) of Lot 4 of Tract No. 376 as shown on a map recorded
in Book 15, Page 29 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California.
PARCEL NO. 11. A portion of the northeasterly one-half (1/2) of
Lot 4 and the northeasterly 92.00 feet of Lot 5 of Tract No. 376 as
shown on a map recorded in Book 15, Page 29 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of Orange County, California, described as the southeaster-
ly 30.00 feet of the above described portions of Lots 4 and 5, and
the intersection of the northwesterly line of the above described
30.00 -foot strip of land with the southwesterly line of Del Mar
Avenue, 70.00 feet wide, shall be rounded with a tangent curve
having a radius of 15.00 feet.
SECTION 2. Tuesday, the 16th day of September, 1975, at the hour
of 6:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 77 Fair Drive, Costa
Mesa, California, is hereby fixed as the time and place for hearing all
persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation.
SECTION 3. These proceedings shall be conducted pursuant to the
provisions of Section 8300 et seq, of the Streets and Highways Code of
the State of California.
SECTION 4. The City Manager of the City of Costa Mesa is hereby
directed to cause notices of the said proposed vacations to be conspicu-
ously posted along said strips of land for at least ten (10) days before
the date of said hearing. Said notices shall be posted not more than
three hundred (300.00) feet apart, but in no event shall less than three
(3) notices be posted.
SECTION 5. This Resolution shall be published once in the ORANGE
COAST DAILY PILOT, a newspaper of general circulation printed and
published in the City of Costa Mesa, Orange County, California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of August, 1975.
