A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, MAKING REQUEST TO THE
STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR ACCESS TO NEWPORT BOULE-
VARD AT WEST SEVENTEENTH STREET.
WHEREAS, Newport Boulevard from East Seventeenth Street southerly
to the Costa Mesa City limits has been designated as having no access
except at approved locations; and
WHEREAS, the City of Costa Mesa is proposing to extend West
Seventeenth Street to intersect with Newport Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, the extension of West Seventeenth Street, as shown on
Exhibit "A" and by this reference made a part hereof, is consistent with
the City of Costa Mesa's Arterial Highway Plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Costa Mesa that request is hereby made to the State of California for
access to Newport Boulevard at the intersection with the extension of
West Seventeenth Street as shown on said Exhibit "A".
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of May, 1975.
