HomeMy WebLinkAbout75-108 - Left Turn Prohibited at Baker Street and Grant AvenueRESOLUTION NO. 75-108 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC MOVEMENTS, CONTROLS, SIGNS, AND MARKINGS, AT THE INTERSECTION OF BAKER STREET AND GRANT AVENUE. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: WHEREAS, Section 10-103 of the Municipal Code of the City of Costa Mesa provides for establishment of restrictions on turns, and to create signaling and controls therefor; and WHEREAS, the Traffic Commission of the City of Costa Mesa has recommended certain restrictions at the intersection of Baker Street and Grant Avenue; and WHEREAS, this Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City that said restrictions be imposed; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa that the following traffic movements, controls, signs, and markings be established at the intersection of Baker Street and Grant Avenue: Prohibition of left turns from Baker Street to Grant Avenue; and prohibition of left turns from Grant Avenue to Baker Street. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of October, 1975.
