RESOLUTION NO. 75-125
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, PROHIBITING PARKING ON
WILSON STREET BETWEEN NEWPORT BOULEVARD AND
FAIRVIEW ROAD DURING SPECIFIED TIMES FOR STREET
CLEANING PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Traffic Commission of the City of Costa Mesa has
recommended to this City Council that parking be prohibited between
Newport Boulevard and Fairview Road from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on the
southerly curb of Wilson Street on each Tuesday, and from 6:00 a.m. to
12:00 noon on the northerly curb of Wilson Street on Thursday for street
cleaning purposes; and
WHEREAS, Section 10-213 of the Municipal Code of the City of Costa
Mesa provides for the designation of no -parking areas by resolution of
the City Council; and
WHEREAS, this Council deems it to be in the best interest of the
City that parking prohibition be authorized as recommended by the Costa
Mesa Traffic Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Costa Mesa that parking be, and the same is hereby prohibited between
Newport Boulevard and Fairview Road from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on the
southerly curb of Wilson Street on each Tuesday, and from 6:00 a.m. to
12:00 noon on the northerly curb of Wilson Street on Thursday for street
cleaning purposes.
