HomeMy WebLinkAbout75-138 - Larmor Annexation Annexed to Street Lighting DistrictRESOLUTION NO. 75-138 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING NO PROTESTS TO ANNEXATION PROCEEDINGS CONDUCTED, PURSUANT TO THE STREET LIGHTING ACT OF 1919, BEING PART 1 OF DIVISION 14 OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AND DECLARING CERTAIN PROPERTY KNOWN AS LARMOR ANNEXATION ANNEXED TO SAID STREET LIGHTING ENERGY AND MAINTENANCE DISTRICT. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: THAT, WHEREAS, a report was ordered by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa, the same being presented to the City Council and approved by said Council, pursuant to Section 18040 through and in- cluding Section 18042, Streets and Highways Code; and WHEREAS, a Resolution of Intention was adopted by the City Council pursuant to Sections 18060 and 18061, Streets and Highways Code, estab- lishing a date for public hearing, being the date of December 1, 1975; and WHEREAS, notice was published and posted pursuant to Section 18070 through and including 18073, Streets and Highways Code; and WHEREAS, provision is made for the filing of protests pursuant to Section 18074, Streets and Highways Code; and WHEREAS, the hearing having been conducted on December 1, 1975, pursuant to Sections 18075 and 18076, Streets and Highways Code; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa finds that no protests to said proceedings were filed as required by law. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Larmor Annexation, subject of these proceedings, be and is hereby declared annexed to the Street Lighting Energy and Maintenance District formed pursuant to the Street Lighting Act of 1919.
