A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING THE VACATION
OF A PORTION OF YUKON AVENUE ADJACENT TO THE
EASTERLY LINE OF LOT ONE, TRACT 4674, LOCATED
IN THE GENERAL AREA OF BEAR STREET AND PAULARINO
AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa did, on the
5th day of January, 1976, pass and adopt Resolution No. 76-6 entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA,
DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF YUKON
AVENUE ADJACENT TO THE EASTERLY LINE OF LOT ONE, TRACT 4674, LOCATED IN
THE GENERAL AREA OF BEAR STREET AND PAULARINO AVENUE; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said Resolution of Intention, the time and
place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed
vacation was set for Monday, the 2nd day of February, 1976, at the hour
of 6:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 77 Fair Drive, Costa
Mesa, California; and
WHEREAS, notices of said proposed vacation were duly and regularly
posted as required by law, all pursuant to the provisions of Section
8300 at seq. of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of Cali-
fornia; and
WHEREAS, said date of hearing coming on regularly to be heard, all
persona appearing on the proposed vacation were heard, and said hearing
was closed on the 2nd day of February, 1976; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa finds and
determines, from all the evidence submitted, that the hereinafter des-
cribed right-of-way is unnecessary for present or prospective street
purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DOES
ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the hereinafter described right-of-way is unnecessary
for present or prospective street purposes.
2. It is hereby ordered that the following described right-
of-way be, and the same is hereby vacated:
That portion of Tract No. 4674, per map recorded in Book
223, Pages 49 and 50 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of
Orange County, California, described as follows:
BEGINNING at the most southerly corner of Lot 1 of
said Tract; thence north 00°52'11" west a distance
of 126.00 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve
concave southwesterly having a radius of 15.00 feet;
thence northwesterly along said curve through a
central angle of 45°17'17" a distance of 11.86 feet
(said curve reads 46°27'03" and 12.16 feet, respec-
tively, on said recorded map), to a point of cusp
with a curve concave northeasterly having a radius
of 701.69 feet, a radial line through said point
bears north 45°34'54" east (said radial line through
said point is shown as north 45°34'52" east on said
recorded map); thence southeasterly along said curve
through a central angle of 05°51'19" a distance of
71.71 feet to a point, a radial line through said
point bears north 39°43'35" east; thence south
00°52'11" west along a line parallel to and 1.00
foot westerly of the east line of said Tract a
distance of 128.23 feet to a point on the southerly
line of said Tract; thence north 50o22'43" west along
said southerly line a distance of 62.83 feet to the
POINT OF BEGINNING.
RESERVING therefrom an easement for all existing
underground and overhead public utilities, together
with the right of ingress and egress for the purpose
of maintaining, replacing, and upgrading said existing
public utilities.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of February, 1976.
