A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, PROHIBITING PARKING ON
PORTIONS OF BABB STREET.
WHEREAS, the Traffic Commission of the City of Costa Mesa has
recommended to this City Council that parking be prohibited at all
times, for the purpose of signal detector installation, on the westerly
curb of Babb Street for a distance of 50 feet northerly of Baker Street
and on the easterly curb of Babb Street for a distance of 50 feet in a
southerly direction from Baker Street; and
WHEREAS, Section 10-213 of the Municipal Code of the City of Costa
Mesa provides for the designation of no -parking areas by resolution of
the City Council; and
WHEREAS, this Council deems it to be in the best interest of the
City that parking prohibition be authorized as recommended by the Costa
Mesa Traffic Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Costa Mesa that parking be, and the same is hereby prohibited at all
times, for the purpose of signal detector installation, on the westerly
curb of Babb Street for a distance of 50 feet northerly of Baker Street
and on the easterly curb of Babb Street for a distance of 50 feet in a
southerly direction from Baker Street.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of February, 1976.
