Subject: Field Inspection of Party Wall Plumbing Noise
Mitigation Measures
Dear Mr. Williams :
This is to state that the plumbing in the party walls of the
apartment units at 2157 Maple Avenue in the City of Costa
Mesa has been inspected by this office and was found to have
incorporated the noise reduction measures we recommended.
This inspection was requested by the City of Costa Mesa to
assure that the installation of the rough plumbing would not
compromise the provisions or intent of the California Noise
Insulation Standards* which establishes acceptable criteria
regarding sound transmission control between multiple-family
dwelling units.
