A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION
TO ORDER THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF PAULARINO
AVENUE IN TRACT 5340, IN THE GENERAL AREA OF
BEAR STREET AND THE CORONA DEL MAR FREEWAY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The

as follows:
That portion of
Pages 40 and 41,

City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby
to vacate a portion of Paularino Avenue, described
Tract 5340 per map thereof recorded in Book 213,
records of Orange County, California, more partic-
as follows:
BEGINNIMS at the intersection of the northerly line of Paularino
Avenue, with the most easterly line of said Tract 5340; thence
south 0°42'55" west along said easterly line a distance of 14.02
feet to a point on a non -tangent curve, concave southwesterly,
having a radius of 50.00 feet, a radial through said point bears
south 44°41'41" west; thence northwesterly along said curve through
a central angle of 43°58'46" an arc distance of 38.38 feet to a
point of cusp with the northerly line of Paularino Avenue; thence
south 89°17'05" east along said northerly line a distance of 34.72
feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
RESERVING therefrom an easement for all existing underground and
overhead public utilities together with the right of ingress and
egress for the purpose of maintaining, replacing, and upgrading
said existing public utilities.
SECTION 2. Monday, the 7th day of February, 1977, at the hour of
6:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 77 Fair Drive, Costa
Mesa, California, is hereby fixed as the time and place for hearing all
persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation.
SECTION 3. These proceedings shall be conducted pursuant to the
provisions of Section 8300 et seq. of the Streets and Highways Code of
the State of California.
SECTION 4. The City Manager of the City of Costa Mesa is hereby
directed to cause notices of the said proposed vacation to be conspic-
uously posted along said strips of land for at least ten (10) days
before the date of said hearing. Said notices shall be posted not more
than three hundred (300) feet apart, but in no event shall less than
three (3) notices be posted.
SECTION 5. This Resolution shall be published once in the Orange
Coast Daily Pilot, a newspaper of general circulation printed and pub-
lished in the City of Costa Mesa, Orange County, California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of January, 1977.
