HomeMy WebLinkAbout77-114 - Establishing 24-minute Parking on Maple AvenueRESOLUTION NO. 77-114 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING 24 - MINUTE PARKING ON A PORTION OF MAPLE AVENUE. WHEREAS, the owners of the properties abutting Maple Avenue north -� of Bernard Street have requested the establishment of 24 -minute parking restrictions for a distance of 25 feet on the westerly curb of Maple Avenue from 270 feet to 295 feet north of Bernard Street, to facilitate short-term parking for their tenants; and WHEREAS, Section 10-207 of the Municipal Code of the City of Costa Mesa provides for the establishment of 24 -minute parking areas by reso- lution of the City Council; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa, as follows: SECTION 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 10-207 of the Costa Mesa Municipal Code, no vehicle shall stand or park for more than 24 minutes at any time in the following described area: On the westerly curb of Maple Avenue measuring 270 feet to 295 feet north of Bernard Street.
