HomeMy WebLinkAbout78-46 - Parking Prohibition on Bristol Street and on Red Hill AvenueRESOLUTION NO. 78-46 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, PROHIBITING PARK- ING ON BRISTOL STREET AND ON RED HILL AVENUE. WHEREAS, the Traffic Commission of the City of Costa Mesa has recommended to this City Council that parking be prohibited at all times on both curbs of Bristol Street from 250 feet west of Red Hill Avenue in an easterly direction to the City limits; and on both curbs of Red Hill Avenue from Bristol Street to Clinton Street; and WHEREAS, Section 10-213 of the Municipal Code of the City of Costa Mesa provides for the designation of no -parking areas by resolution of the City Council; and WHEREAS, this Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City that parking prohibition be authorized as recommended by the Costa Mesa Traffic Commission; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa that parking be, and the same is hereby prohibited at all times on both curbs of Bristol Street from 250 feet west of Red Hill Avenue in an easterly direction to the City limits; and on both curbs of Red Hill Avenue from Bristol Street to Clinton Street.
