HomeMy WebLinkAbout78-65 - Revised Procedures Implementation of California Environmental Quality ActRESOLUTION NO. 78-65 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING REVISED PROCE- DURES FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT. WHEREAS, Section 21082 of the Public Resources Code of the State of California requires all public agencies to adopt objectives, cri- teria, and procedures for the evaluation of projects and the preparation of environmental documents; and WHEREAS, all public agencies are required to develop Environmental Impact Report procedures pursuant to California Administrative Code Section 15050; and WHEREAS, various amendments to the California Environmental Quality Act and the State EIR Guidelines became effective on March 4, 1978; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Costa Mesa has reviewed and recommended adoption of revised EIR Guidelines for the City of Costa Mesa; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby adopt revised EIR Guidelines for the City of Costa Mesa, as set forth in a document entitled "Environmental Impact Report Guidelines," effective March 4, 1978."
