HomeMy WebLinkAbout79-13 - Parking Prohibition on Wallace Avenue and Congress StreetRESOLUTION NO. 79-13 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING PARKING PROHIBITION ON TUESDAYS ON WALLACE AVENUE AND ON CONGRESS STREET. WHEREAS, the occupants and owners of the properties on a portion of Wallace Avenue and on a portion of Congress Street have requested the establishment of 60 -minute parking restrictions on Wallace Avenue between Congress and Wilson Streets and on Congress street from Raleigh Avenue westerly; and WHEREAS, Section 10-208(b) of the Municipal Code of the City of Costa Mesa provides for the establishment of 60 -minute parking areas by resolution of the City Council; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa as follows: SECTION 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 10-208(b) of the Municipal Code of the City of Costa Mesa, no vehicle shall stand or park between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. on Tuesdays on Wallace Avenue between Congress and Wilson Streets and on Congress Street from Raleigh Avenue westerly.
