HomeMy WebLinkAbout79-15 - Requesting Department of Transportation to Establish Loading Zone on Newport BoulevardRESOLUTION NO. 79-15 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, REQUESTING THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO ESTABLISH A LOAD- ING ZONE ON A PORTION OF NEWPORT BOULEVARD. WHEREAS, the Traffic Commission of the City of Costa Mesa has recommended that a loading zone be established at 1762 Newport Boule- vard as requested by the property owner, Tom Stilly; and WHEREAS, this Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City that said loading zone be established as recommended; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa that a request is hereby made to CALTRANS, California Department of Transportation, for the establishment of a loading zone on the easterly curb of Newport Boulevard between 75 feet to 100 feet north of the centerline of Rochester Street.
