A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, REQUESTING THE CALIFORNIA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO ESTABLISH A LOAD-
ING ZONE ON A PORTION OF NEWPORT BOULEVARD.
WHEREAS, the Traffic Commission of the City of Costa Mesa has
recommended that a loading zone be established at 1762 Newport Boule-
vard as requested by the property owner, Tom Stilly; and
WHEREAS, this Council deems it to be in the best interest of the
City that said loading zone be established as recommended;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Costa Mesa that a request is hereby made to CALTRANS, California
Department of Transportation, for the establishment of a loading zone
on the easterly curb of Newport Boulevard between 75 feet to 100 feet
north of the centerline of Rochester Street.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of February, 1979.
