A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION
TO ORDER THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF VICTORIA
STREET AND VICTORIA PLACE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby
declarei� 'ts i tention to vacate a portion of Victoria Street and
Victoria Place described as follows:
That portion of Victoria Street, State of California, as shown on
a map of Tract No. 653, recorded in Book 19, Page 42 of Miscella-
neous Maps in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County,
more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the south line of Lot 91 of said Tract
No. 653, distant south 89°28'00" west, 515.00 feet along said line
from the southeast corner of said lot; thence at right angles to
said north line south 0°32'00" east, 2.82 feet to a point on a
nontangent curve, concave southeasterly and having a radius of
1045.00 feet (a radial line of said curve through said point
having a bearing of north 10°11'44" west); thence southwesterly
143.67 feet along said curve through a central angle of 7052'38"
to the beginning of a reverse curve, concave northerly and having
a radius of 25.00 feet; thence westerly 23.07 feet along said
curve through a central angle of 52°51'54" to the beginning of a
reverse curve, concave southwesterly and having a radius of 180.00
feet and being tangent to the south line of said Lot 91; thence
northwesterly 110.98 feet along said curve through a central angle
of 35°19'32" to a point of tangency with said south line; thence
north 89°28'00" east 265.60 feet along said south line to the
POINT OF BEGINNING.
RESERVING THEREFROM an easement for all exisitng underground and
overhead public utilities together with the right of ingress and
egress for the purpose of maintaining, replacing, and upgrading
said existing public utilities.
SECTION 2. Monday, the 2nd day of July, 1979, at the hour of 6:30
p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 77 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa,
California, is hereby fixed as the time and place for hearing all
persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation.
SECTION 3. These proceedings shall be conducted pursuant to the
provisions of Section 8300 et seq. of the Streets and Highways Code of
the State of California.
SECTION 4. The City Manager of the City of Costa Mesa is hereby
directed to cause notices of the said proposed vacation to be conspic-
uously posted along said strips of land for a least ten (10) days before
the date of said hearing. Said notices shall be posted not more than
three hundred (300) feet apart, but in no event shall less than three
(3) notices be posted.
SECTION 5. This Resolution shall be published once in the ORANGE
COASDAILY PILOT, a newspaper of general circulation printed and
published in the City of Costa Mesa, Orange County, California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of June, 1979.
