A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COSTA MESA DESIGNATING ENUMERATED EMPLOYEES TO
SERVE AS INSURANCE COMMITTEE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 79-12 provides for the creation of an
Insurance Committee comprised of not less than three employees of the
City to perform functions of the governing body with respect to claims,
including payment pursuant to an allowance, compromise or settlement of
a sum of not greater than Five Thousand ($5,000.00) Dollars; and
WHEREAS, the following employees have experience and other
qualifications to enable them to discharge those duties contemplated
by Ordinance No. 79--12;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following employees of the
City of Costa Mesa are hereby designated as the members of the Insurance
Committee:
1. CITY MANAGER
2. FINANCE DIRECTOR
3. CITY ATTORNEY
Such employees, and such subordinate employees as each may designate,
shall have those powers described in Ordinance No. 79-12.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of August, 1979.
