RESOLUTION NO. 80-100
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, REMOVING PROHIBITION OF
PARKING ON A PORTION OF KNOX PLACE FOR THE
PURPOSE OF STREET SWEEPING.
WHEREAS, the Traffic Commission of the City of Costa Mesa has
recommended to this City Council that parking not be prohibited at any
time on both curbs of Knox Place between Orange Avenue and Santa Ana
Avenue for the purpose of street sweeping; and
WHEREAS, this Council has previously caused parking to be pro-
hibited on both curbs of Knox Place for the purpose of street sweeping;
and
WHEREAS, this Council deems it to be in the best interest of the
City that parking not be prohibited as recommended by the Costa Mesa
Traffic Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Costa Mesa that parking be, and the same is hereby not prohibited on
Knox Place for its length between Orange Avenue and Santa Ana Avenue,
for the purpose of street sweeping.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that any signs which now give warning that
parking is prohibited for street sweeping shall be removed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 23rd day of October, 1980.
