A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING AND ORDERING
CERTAIN TERRITORY KNOWN AS BRISTOL PLAZA ANNEX-
ATION ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF COSTA MESA WITHOUT
HEARING OR ELECTION.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission of Orange County,
California, did on the 26th day of September, 1979, approve the
annexation of certain territory described as Bristol Plaza Annexation
to the City of Costa Mesa, after application having been made for said
annexation pursuant to Section 54792, California Government Code, and
accompanied by written consent of one hundred percent (100%) of the
land owners within the territory;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa, Cali-
fornia, finds and determines as follows:
(a) That the territory proposed to be annexed is uninhabited and
that no written protests have been filed and that the written
protests filed and not withdrawn represent less than ten
percent (10%) of the number of land owners in the territory
proposed to be annexed, owning not more than ten percent
(10%) of the assessed value of land therein.
(b) That the proposed annexation will be for the interest of the
land owners and the present and future inhabitants within the
territory proposed to be annexed.
(c) That the City Council has taken into consideration as a
factor in addition to the factors hereinabove set forth, the
Local Agency Formation Commission's approval of the proposed
annexation.
(d) That the territory to be annexed is contiguous to the exist-
ing boundaries of the City of Costa Mesa and is not, nor is
any part thereof, included in any other city or similar pur-
pose.
(e) That the Environmental Impact Report completed by the City of
Costa Mesa, pursuant to the California Environmental Quality
Act of 1970, was considered and accepted by the City Council
in connection with Zone Exception ZE-80-10 on April 21, 1980.
The City Council has hereby ordered the annexation of Bristol Plaza
Annexation in accordance with Resolution 79-113 of the Local Agency For-
mation Commission, without notice and hearing and without an election,
pursuant to Section 54797.1 of the California Government Code.
That for taxing purposes, said Annexation is to be deemed an annex-
ation to the "Basic Area" of the City of Costa Mesa and the Orange
County Assessor is so notified.
That the exterior boundaries of the territory annexed are as set
forth in a map and legal description attached hereto, marked Exhibit
"A", and by this reference made a part hereof.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of January, 1981.

TO
THE CITY OF COSTA MESA
That portion of Lot 2 in Block D of the Berry Tract in the County
of Orange, State of California, as shown on a map recorded in Book 9, page 6
of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County California, described as
follows;
Beginning at an angle point in the existing boundary line of the
City of Costa Mesa, said angle point being the northwest corner of "Paularino

Thence leaving said existing boundary line of the City of Costa
Mesa as established by said "Paularino No. 1 Annexation" and along said east
line of the land described in said deed through the following courses:
Northerly along last mentioned curve through a central angle of 270 20 04"
an arc distance of 107.34 feet to a tangent line;
Thence N. 00 19' 02" E., along said tangent line 7.54 feet to a
tangent curve concave Southeasterly and having a radius of 75.00 feet,
Thence Northeasterly along said curve through a central angle of
760 45' 34" an arc distance of 100.48 feet to a tangent line; Thence N. 770
04' 36" E., along said tangent line 70.59 feet to a point in the northerly
line of said Lot 2, Block D of the Berry Tract;
Thence leaving said east line of the land described in said deed
and along said northerly line of said Lot 2, S. 890 41' 39" E., 113.49 feet
to the Point Of Beginning.
The above described parcel of land contains 1.062 acres.
