Veterinary ServicesRESOLUTION NO. 81-91 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING A FEE SCHEDULE RELATING TO THE REDEMPTION AND DISPOSAL OF IMPOUNDED ANIMALS PURSUANT TO THE VETERINARY PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICES AGREEMENT. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby resolve as follows: THAT, WHEREAS, on April 6, 1981, the City of Costa Mesa renewed its agreement with the County of Orange for Veterinary Public Health Services; and WHEREAS, the County Auditor -Controller has performed a cost study of animal control fees and found said fees to be deficient in meeting the cost of providing services to contract cities; and WHEREAS, the City has reviewed the proposed fee increases with the County of Orange and is in agreement with the methodology used in determining the cost for service figures. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby adopt the fee schedule as attached hereto as Attachment A pursuant to the terms and conditions of the Veterinary Public Health Services Agreement between the County of Orange and the City of Costa Mesa; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Director of Animal Control, County of Orange.
