HomeMy WebLinkAbout82-61 - Establishing 24-Minute Parking - Superior Avenue1 5 f1 RESOLUTION NO. 82-61 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING 24 -MINUTE PARKING ON A PORTION OF SUPERIOR AVENUE. WHEREAS, at their meeting of November 1981, the Costa Mesa Traffic Commission considered a request for time limit parking at 1599 Superior Avenue, and after consideration recommended the establishment of a 24 -minute parking restriction on Superior Avenue on the westerly curb from 100 feet south of 16th Street to 165 feet south; and WHEREAS, Section 10-207 of the Municipal Code of the City of Costa Mesa provides for the establishment of 24 -minute parking areas by resolu- tion of the City Council; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa as follows: SECTION 1: Pursuant to the provisions of Section 10-207 of the Municipal Code of the City of Costa Mesa no vehicle shall stand or park for more than 24 minutes between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on any day except Sundays and holidays on the westerly curb of Superior Avenue from 100 feet south of 16th Street to 165 feet south of 16th Street.
