HomeMy WebLinkAbout83-05 - Parking Prohibition - Baker StreetRESOLUTION NO. 83-5 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, PROHIBITING PARKING ON A PORTION OF BAKER STREET. WHEREAS, the Traffic Commission of the City of Costa Mesa has recom- mended to this City Council that parking be prohibited at all times on the northerly curb of Baker Street 35 feet east of Enterprise Street for a distance of 40 feet; and WHEREAS, Section 10-213 of the Municipal Code of the City of Costa Mesa provides for the designation of no -parking areas by resolution of the City Council; and WHEREAS, this Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City that parking prohibition be authorized as recaimmended by the Costa Mesa Traffic Commission; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa that parking be, and the same is hereby prohibited at all times on the northerly curb of Baker Street 35 feet east of Enterprise Street for a distance of 40 feet.
