HomeMy WebLinkAbout84-30 - Parking Allowed in Marked Stalls on Arlington Drive30 RESOLUTION NO. 84-30 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, TO ALLOW PARKING IN MARKED STALLS ONLY WITH TOW -AWAY PROVISION ON A PORTION OF ARLINGTON DRIVE. WHEREAS, the Traffic Commission of the City of Costa Mesa has recan- mended to this City Council to post parking in marked stalls only with tow -away provision along the northerly curb of Arlington Drive frau 600 feet to 1,300 feet west of Junipero Drive; and WHEREAS, Section 10-212 of the Municipal Code of the City of Costa Mesa provides for the designation of parking in marked areas only by resolution of the City Council; and WHEREAS, Section 10-69 of the Municipal Code of the City of Costa Mesa provides for the tow -away of illegally parked vehicles provided that the tow -away provision is posted; and WHEREAS, this Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City that this parking regulation be authorized as recarnmnded by the Costa Mesa Traffic Camnission; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa that parking be permitted in marked stalls only with tow -away provision along the northerly curb of Arlington Drive from 600 feet to 1,300 feet west of Junipero Drive.
