FairgroundsRESOLUTION NO. 84-75 A RESOLUTION OF THE CI`T'Y COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, PROHIBITING PARKING AT ALL TIMES ON VARIOUS STREETS NEAR THE ORANGE COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS WITHOUT RESIDENT PERMIT. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa has determined that parking is a limited resource on streets near the Pacific Amphitheatre identified in Exhibit "A" attached hereto; and WHEREAS, Section 10-221 of the Municipal Code of the City of Costa Mesa provides for the designation of resident -only parking areas by Resolu- tion of the City Council; and WHEREAS, Sections 10-69(b) and 10-82 of the Municipal Code of the City of Costa Mesa set forth provisions for enforcement and obedience to Code regulations; and WHEREAS, this Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City that resident parking only be allowed on the street segments stated in Exhibit "A"; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa that parking be, and the same is hereby prohibited on the streets listed in Exhibit "A" at all times without resident permit. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that pursuant to Sections 10-69(b) and 10-82 of the Costa Mesa Municipal Code, signs shall be posted to give warning that vehicles parked in violation of said Code shall be cited. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that permits be distributed according to the plan and fee schedule set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. VIOLATION: Vehicles parked in violation of this parking restriction shall be fined $25.00.
