HomeMy WebLinkAbout84-128 - Revising Development Charges in North Costa MesaRESOLUTION NO. 84-128 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, REVISING DEVELOP- MENT TRIP CHARGES WITHIN NORTH COSTA MESA. WHEREAS, Resolution No. 84-59 of the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa did find the purpose and need to establish a requirement that funds for off-site transportation improvements be deposited or that actual improvements be constructed whenever this can be found as a reasonable mitigation measure arising from the environmental process; and WHEREAS, a biannual revision to the Intercity 5 -Year Transportation Study referred to in Resolution No. 84-59 has determined that additional funding will be necessary to canplete the 5 -year transportation plan; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the maximum financial commitments set forth in Resolution No. 84-59 are hereby revised as follows: $650.00 per single-family dwelling unit; $475.00 per multiple -family unit; $750.00 per 1,000 square feet of office gross floor area; $2,325.00 per acre of industrial and manufacturing; $1,750.00 per acre of warehousing; $2,025.00 per 1,000 square feet of regional retail cam ercial, gross floor area; and $700.00/roan, hotel.
