RESOLUTION NO. 85-35
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, PROHIBITING PARKING ON
TUESDAYS BETWEEN 6:00 A.M. AND 8:00 A.M. ON A
PORTION OF LUDINGTON AVENUE FOR THE PURPOSE OF
STREET SWEEPING.
WHEREAS, the Costa Mesa Traffic Commission has recenanended to this
City Council that parking be prohibited on Tuesdays, between 6:00 a.m. and
8:00 a.m., along both curbs of Ludington Avenue for its length frau
Paularino Avenue to Traverse Drive for the purpose of street sweeping; and
WHEREAS, Section 10-213 of the Municipal Code of the City of Costa
Mesa provides for the designation of no -parking areas by resolution of the
City Council, and Sections 10-69(b) and 10-82 of the Municipal Code of the
City of Costa Mesa set forth provisions for enforcement and obedience to
Code regulations; and
WHEREAS, this Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City
that parking prohibition be authorized as reconmended by the Costa Mesa
Traffic Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Costa Mesa that parking be, and the same is hereby prohibited on Tuesdays,
between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m., along both curbs of Ludington Avenue for
its length fran Paularino Avenue to Traverse Drive for the purpose of
street sweeping.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of May, 1985.
