HomeMy WebLinkAbout85-56 - Adopting Shared Parking RequirementsRESOLUTION NO. 85-56 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING SHARED PARKING REQUIREMENTS FOR THE CITY OF COSTA MESA. MEREAS, the planning Commission and City Council have reviewed a report prepared by Staff concerning shared parking; and MiEREAS, studies conducted by the Urban Land Institute and others indicate how peak parking demand for different uses varies by hour, day and month; and MiEREAS, these study results can be used to predict combined peak parking demand for mixed use projects; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa that the "City of Costa Mesa Procedure for Determining Shared Parking Requirements" as set forth in Exhibit A, attached, is hereby adopted for the City of Costa Mesa and will beccn e effective on the effective date of Ordinance 85-20. Determine peak parking requirements for each use in the development according to standards in the Costa Mesa Municipal Code. 2.
