A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION
TO ORDER THE VACATION OF TOWN CENTER DRIVE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Costa Mesa does hereby
declare its intention to vacate Town Center Drive as shown on a map of
Tract 11762, and more particularly described as follows:
That portion of Town Center Drive as it is shown on a map recorded
in Book 511, Pages 41 through 43, inclusive, of Miscellaneous Maps,
Records of the County Recorder, Orange County California, bounded
on the east by the northerly prolongation of the east line of Lot 6
as it is shown on said map, and bounded on the west by the southerly
prolongation of the west line of Lot 2 as it is shown on said map.
ALSO, that portion of Town Center Drive referred to as Parcel "A" in
an easement deed to the City of Costa Mesa recorded in Book 12755,
Page 1857 of Official Records of the County Recorder of said County.
ALSO, that portion of Town Center Drive dedicated to the City of
Costa Mesa per Document No. 83-360718 of Official Records of the
County Recorder of said County.
RESERVING therefran an easement for all existing underground and
overhead public utilities together with the right of ingress and
egress for the purpose of maintaining, replacing, and upgrading said
existing public utilities.
SECTION 2. Monday, the 19th day of May, 1986, at 6:30 p.m., in the
Council Chambers of City Hall, 77 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa, California, is
hereby fixed as the time and place for hearing all persons interested in or
objecting to the proposed vacation.
SECTION 3. These proceedings shall be conducted pursuant to the
provisions of Section 8300 et seq. of the Streets and Highways Code of the
State of California.
SECTION 4. The City Manager of the City of Costa Mesa is hereby
directed to cause notices of the said proposed vacation to be conspicuously
posted along said strips of land for at least ten (10) days before the date
of said hearing. Said notices shall be posted not more than three hundred
(300) feet apart, but in no event shall less than three (3) notices be
posted.
SECTION 5. This Resolution shall be published once in the ORANGE
COAST DAILY PILOT, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published
in the City of Costa Mesa, Orange County, California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of April, 1986.
