A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, FINDING AND DETERMINING
THAT THE PUBLIC INTEREST REQUIRES CONVEYANCE OF
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY TO THE COSTA MESA REDEVEL-
OPMENT AGENCY, AND AUTHORIZING THE CONVEYANCE OF
SAID PROPERTY BY THE CITY TO THE AGENCY.
WHEREAS, the City of Costa Mesa owns in easement certain real prop-
erty consisting of approximately 0.265 acres, which is now a portion of
Plumer Street (said real property is legally described in the attached
and incorporated Exhibit A); and
WHEREAS, said real property is included as a part of the Costa Mesa
Redevelopment Agency's Lincoln Park Center Apartment Project; and
WHEREAS, during and after construction of the Lincoln project, said
real property will not be required, needed or used for street purposes;
and
WHEREAS, said real property is being abandoned for public street
purposes through the parcel map process pursuant to Government Code
Section 66499.20-1/2; and
WHEREAS, the City of Costa Mesa desires said real property to be used
for redevelopment purposes, and the City has and will receive valuable
consideration and public benefits from the Lincoln Project and from the
public improvements and facilities to be constructed with and as a part of
the Lincoln Project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Costa Mesa does hereby find, determine, and declare, that the public
interest requires said real property described in Exhibit A be used for
redevelopment purposes as a part of the Costa Mesa Lincoln Park Center
Apartment Redevelopment Project after the recordation of the final parcel
map.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said real property by this resolution will
be devoted to redevelopment use and because the City of Costa Mesa has and
will receive valuable consideration and public benefits fron the Lincoln
project and from the public improvements and facilities to be constructed
with and as a part of the Lincoln project, the City Council of the City of
Costa Mesa hereby authorizes, empowers, and directs the conveyance of said
real property to the Costa Mesa Redevelopment Agency for purposes consist-
ent with redevelopment as such purposes are set forth in Health and Safety
Code Section 33000, et seq., after the recordation of the final parcel map.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Costa
Mesa are authorized to execute the necessary documents and/or deeds neces-
sary to convey said real property to the Costa Mesa Redevelopment Agency,
and to take all other actions necessary and/or incidental thereto to devote
and convey said real property to redevelopment uses after the recordation
of the final parcel map.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of August, 1986.

City of Costa Mesa, County of Orange, State of California, as shown on a map
filed in Book 21, Page 6 of Miscellaneous Maps in the Office of the County
Recorder of said County, described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the centerline of said Plumer Street, being the north
line of said Lot "A", distant thereon North 89°29'51" East 414.14 feet from the
centerline of Anaheim Avenue as shown on said map; thence South 0°30'09" East
30.00 feet to the south line of said Plumer Street; thence along said south line
South 89°29'51" West 384.14 feet to a line parallel with and 30.00 feet easterly
from said centerline of Anaheim Avenue; thence along said parallel line
North 0°29'53" West 30.00 feet to said centerline of Plumer Street; thence along
said centerline North 89°29'51" East 384.14 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
