RESOLUTION NO. 88-20
A RESOLUTION CF THE CITY ODUNCIL CF THE CITY OF
OOSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, INITIATING PROCEEDINGS
FCR RENEWAL CF CITY CF ODSM MESA LANDSCAPING
ASSES94ENT DISTRICT NO. 1.
WiEREAS, pursuant tD the Landscaping and Lightirg Act of 1972, the
City Council did on May 15, 1978, adopt Resolution No. 78-53 ordering the
fJormation of City of Costa Mesa Landscaping Assessment District No. 1 arra
levying an assessment thereon for fiscal year 1978 through 1979; and
WiEREAS, pursuant to the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972, the
City Council did on June 18, 1984, adapt Resolution No. 84-82 ordering the
annexation of property located within Tract 12011 to City of Costa Mesa
Landscaping Assessment District No. 1; and
WiEREAS, Streets and Highways Code Section 22620 et seq. requires
annual renewal of assessment districts f need pursuant to the provisions
of the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL CF THE CITY CF (DSM MESA does hereby
find, determine, and resolve as fAllows:
1. No new improvements nor substantial changes in existing improve-
ments are proposed fpr City of Costa Mesa Landscaping Assessment
District No. 1;
2. The Project Manager is hereby directed to prepare and f ile with
the City Council the report as defined in Section 22565 through
and including Section 22574 of the California Streets and High-
ways Code with respect to said district;
3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th. day of April, 1988.
