RESOLUTION NO. 88-77
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, PROHIBITING PARKING ON
A PORTION OF CONGRESS STREET FOR THE PURPOSE OF
STREET SWEEPING.
WHEREAS, the Costa Mesa Traffic Canmission has recanmended to this
City Council that parking be prohibited at all times along both curbs of
Congress Street between Placentia Avenue and State Street on Tuesdays frau
8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. for the purpose of street sweeping; and
WHEREAS, Section 10-213 of the Costa Mesa Municipal Code provides for
the designation of no -parking areas by resolution of the City Council, and
Sections 10-69(b) and 10-82 of the Costa Mesa Municipal Code set forth
provisions for enforcement and obedience to Code regulations; and
WHEREAS, this Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City
that parking prohibition be authorized as recaâ–ºrnended by the Costa Mesa
Traffic Canmission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Costa Mesa that parking be, and the same is hereby prohibited at all times
along both curbs of Congress Street between Placentia Avenue and State
Street on Tuesdays fran 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. for the purpose of street
sweeping.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of October 88.
