RESOLUTION NO. 88-84
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, PROHIBITING PARKING ON
A PORTION OF ORCAS DRIVE FOR THE PURPOSE OF
STREET SWEEPING.
WHEREAS, the Costa Mesa MI ansportation Commission has recommended to
this City Council that parking be prohibited at all times along both curbs
of Orcas Drive between Samoa Place and Sumatra Place on Fridays from 9:00
a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for the purpose of street sweeping; and
WHEREAS, Section 10-213 of the Costa Mesa Municipal Code provides for
the designation of no, --parking areas by resolution of the City Council, and
Sections 10-69(b) and 10-82 of the Costa Mesa Municipal Code set forth
provisions for enforcement and obedience to Code regulations; and
WHEREAS, this Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City
that parking prohibition be authorized as recommended by the Costa Mesa
Traffic Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Costa Mesa that parking be, and the same is hereby prohibited at all times
along both curbs of Orcas Drive between Samoa Place arra Sumatra Place on
Fridays frau 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for the purpose of street sweeping.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 31st day of October, 1988.
