RESOLUTION NO. 89-10
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, PROHIBITING PARKING ON
A PORTION OF TULIP LANE FOR THE PURPOSE OF STREET
SWEEPING.
WHEREAS, the Costa Mesa Transportation Commission has recommended to
this City Council that parking be prohibited at all times along both curbs
of Tulip Lane between Orange Avenue and Elden Avenue on Wednesdays from
8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. for the purpose of street sweeping; and
WHEREAS, Section 10-213 of the Costa Mesa Municipal Code provides for
the designation of no -parking areas by resolution of the City Council, and
Sections 10-69(b) and 10-82 of the Costa Mesa Municipal Code set forth
provisions for enforcement and obedience to Code regulations; and
WHEREAS, this Council deems it to be in the best interest of the City
that parking prohibition be authorized as recommended by the Costa Mesa
Traffic Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Costa Mesa that parking be, and the same is hereby prohibited at all times
along both curbs of Tulip Lane between Orange Avenue and Elden Avenue on
Wednesdays from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. for the purpose of street sweeping.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of January, 1989.
