Yes; you pile the same number of BTU 's into less water so it heats up more, 2'F more. Those extra 2'F will cause you to lose about 2% of your collected heat back to the air, but you can live with that. But, if you put more water through the collector, say 60 G.P.M. , your collection efficiency goes up a couple of percent, but your pumping energy cost goes up a little. It is about a stand-off until. you get up to flow rates that don' t apply to home pools.
