St. would need to be reinstated. We would need to charge for two hours of inspection
time for each permit. Fees payments are made at the Building counter. Once the
permits have been reinstated, inspections can be requested.

I am representing David Snowden Jr. and his wife Angela in the purchase of 215 23'd St.
in Costa Mesa. We are currently in counter-offers, but are very close to an agreement.
However, this property appears to have some expired permits for remodel work done.
How do we go about re-instating permits and/or having Final approval obtained for the
remodel work done. We would like to have an inspector from the City view the property
and give us a clear idea of what would need to occur to bring the property up to code(if it
is not already). Can we do this, as prospective purchasers...or must it be done by the
homeowner? Any guidance you can give would be greatly appreciated.
