than a car, even i n an ofte n-hostil e envi ronme nt, demonstrates hi s personal commitment to our common goal s of

Dear Mayor Foley, Mayor ProTempore Stephens and Councilmembers,
Please appoint Marc Perkins to fill the Planning Commission open seat.
I started "follow ing" Marc's YouTube channel several years ago. Marc posts dangerous
cycling conditions w hile chaperoning OCC's Foodriders. As a moderator for the Costa
Mesa Bikeability F acebook page, I have shared all of Marc's YouTube posts.
In the past year, I have interacted w ith Marc regularly as a member of the Board of
Directors of CMABS, Costa Mesa Alliance for Better Streets. Marc is a professional
dedicated to his city. He regularly w orks into the w ee hours of the morning to
coordinate CMABS events. Marc's attention to detail and his know ledge of local and
regional transportation concerns "blow my mind."
Marc w ould be a perfect fit for being a productive member of the Planning Commission.
Vote YES for Professor Perkins.
