This inspec on revealed several viola- tions of state and local codes. 1. Every building s 1 be maintai in good repair - Section 713.20 (b) Sta Building and Housing Standards 2. Repair deteriorated of and make water tight - Section 713. (d) State iding and Housing Standards 3. Replace b en windows - Section 713.20 (c) State Building and H sing Standards 4. Repair or replace damaged window screens - Section 713.20 (f) State Building and Housing Standards 5. Premises of every building to be kept clear of debris and offensive matter - Section 713.20 (h) State Building and Housing Standards 6. Repair or replace illegal plumbing fixtures - Section 16863 State Building and Housing Standards 7. Electrical installations shall be made in a work- - manlike manner and maintained in order to reduce the personal hazard and tire hazard from electrical causes - Section 1.2 Uniform Wiring Code of the City of Costa Mesa 111/1111 F PAGE 2 DATE: May 22, 1967 TO: Mrs. Leo Smith RE: property located at 1562 Orange Avenue, Costa Mesa 8. In dwelling type occupancies, two or more 20 ampere appliance circuits shall be installed in accordance with Section 220-3 of the National Electric Code and such circuits shall be limited to six outlets. The structure was posted as "Unsafe to Occupy" and shall re- main posted until all corrections are made. The utility companies have been notified to discontinue service to this location. If this structure is to remain standing, it shall be secured in such a way as to make it inaccessible to any e who may wish to enter.
