A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, SETTING COMPENSATION FOR PARKS, RECREATION FACILITIES, AND PARKWAYS COMMISSION. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AND DECLARE AS FOLLOWS: WHEREAS, Section 12-59 of the Costa Mesa Municipal Code provides that the City Council may set the compensation for the members who serve on the City's Parks, Recreation Facilities and Parkways Commission; and WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to establish such a salary; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Costa Mesa determines and orders as follows: SECTION 1. The compensation for members serving on the Parks, Recreation Facilities and Parkway Commission shall be $100 per month. SECTION 2. This compensation shall be payable to those members who attend at least one commission meeting each month. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of February, 2001.
