RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTION
NO. 01-4, CONCERNING COUNCIL MEETING AGENDAS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COSTA MESA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it would expedite the
Council's business and be more convenient and informative to the public to revise
Council meeting agendas as shown below.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. The order of business and item matter descriptions for Council meeting
agendas shall be as follows:
(a) Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag
(b) Invocation
(c) Roll Call and Call to Order
(d) Approval of Minutes of Previous Meetings
(e) Motion to Read All Ordinances and Resolutions by Title Only
(f) Special Presentations
(g) Public Comments
(h) Consent Calendar
(i) Public Hearings
(j) Old Business
(k) New Business
(I) City Attorney's Reports
(m) City Manager's Reports
(n) Council Members Reports, Comments, and Suggestions
(o) Adjournment
2. The City Council will hold regular study sessions on the second Monday
of each month at the hour of 4:30 p.m. These study sessions are in addition to the
study sessions that occur during the hour preceding regular Council meetings on the
first and third Mondays of each month.
3. This resolution supersedes Section 2 (agenda order) and Section 1(b)
(study session beginning time) of Council Resolution No. 89-126 whose remaining
provisions are to remain in effect.
