Dear Mr. Petros:
I am writing you to ask for a Building Permit Extension for permit BC08-00578 B-
Combo for window and door replacements, and new siding at the front of the house; the
permit was originally issued on December 16, 2008.
Last year the City of Costa Mesa was offering no fee permits up to the end of the year; I
took advantage of that opportunity to get a no fee permit. After I received the permit I
had to select windows, doors, exterior siding, and garage door prior to the start of the
remodel, this took longer than I anticipated. I had the stucco removed at the end of March
2009, and I started install the new windows and door. I am doing all the work by myself,
weekend only, so this is a long process.
I will have all the windows and doors installed by the end of June 2009, and call for a
flashing inspection.
After the flashing inspection I will install the new siding and the garage door. The project
will 100% complete in August of 2009.
