In October, this water heater was inspected and remedial work was requested. At that time,
the inspector told me that we had six months to complete the work and get it re-inspected.
The work was completed in the next week and I tried twice to arrange another inspection.
Your policy of not scheduling work in advance but only early on the day of an inspection
has stimied me. Both times I was scheduled, the inspector said that he had a morning
meeting and would not be able to do the work while I was still home. This inspection is
not something for which I am willing to take an entire day off work, so it must be done
first thing in the morning, before 0930 at the latest.
Now I have received a yellow notice tag saying that the permit has expired. This is a
contradiction of the assurance given by the inspector in October. The notice, signed V.
Cook, asked me to call him at 754-4983, which I have tried to do on several occasions in
the last week. His phone was never answered and never went to voice mail so I was unable
to leave a message. Apparently, email is the only reliable way t act your department.
I would like to schedule an inspection for one day early i January.
But, as I said above, the inspection must be completed by 0 n't want to call you
at 0700 on the scheduled day only to learn that no inspection will be possible that day.
When you schedule a day, please be sure that I can fit into your schedule for that day.
Please don't waste my time or yours further on this trivial matter.
