However, this repiping was not for the relocation of the water heater, washer and dryer into the qarage, as evidenced by the illegal penetration through the required one- hour fire wall between the residence and the garage. Additionally, these floor plans show each unit provided with a two car garage. Under current standards, these garages are non- conforming; a 20' by 20' clear interior dimension is now required; the plans show an approximately 19� by 19' dimension. The result of the above research is that the water heater, washer and dryer need to be placed back into the house again, under the direction of the Building Division. Of course, as noted within youi 3e�tEr of Sep�e�r.be_ 20, '_941, a Vari3nc� can be appZied for. However, it will take the completion of the included paperwork, the submittal of plans and a notification packet as well as a$450.00, non-refundable filing fee. Staff will be unable to recommend approval of this Variance because the findings per State law cannot be made.
