Asbestos Emissions from Demolition/Renovat(on Activities. It became effective
January 1,1990.
This nile speci5es work practia requiremenu for demolition and renovation
activities and the associated dist�ubana of a5bcstos-containing waste material.
Demolition or renovadon operators must meet the following requiremenu:
o notificatinn
o removal techniques for asbestos-containing material
o clean-up procedures, and
o waste storage and disposal requiremeat
Failure to compl with the provisions otthis rule may result in a
penalty of up to �25,000 per day.
